The words heaving and shoehorn are the only way to describe the club last night. Absolutely excellent to see it full to the rafters. As usual Jagged Edge proved to be the class act they have always been, with a fantastic mix of classic rock. Got to agree with me old mate Pnut, lets hope the youngsters (and their parents) realise that there is more to music than backing tracks and stools. Long Live live music. Hats off to Eddie and the committee for being brave enough to see how the mix of top band and ’kids’ would pan out. Hope this will continue and see new life back into the club.

Not even standing room available last night, a real packed house, most of the audience there to see Jagged Edge. Good to see all the regulars in and many more who came along to see the band. A great performance and a fabulous light show, the atmosphere was good and the band responded. The kids behaved and there were people applauding and enjoying the night who had previously said no way to the advertised saturday night entertainment. Long may it continue, and thanks to Jagged Edge for providing a great night. We got to do it all again next week now co’s there’s a top band on friday night, and also a welcome back to 2-out-of-3 on saturday. see you all there people.

Just to echo what Dianne’s said.Well done Eddie and Jagged Edge.Including christmas’s and new years,I’ve got to go back to the eighties/early nineties to see a club so jammed.Dave Bamforth(singer) was a bit dubious about the kids being in, before going on stage, but, judging by the smiles on the bands faces when greeted with raptuous applause after every number It didn’t take long for those worries to evaporate.I’m pleased that it vindicated Eddies belief that a top band and kids kept under control, will work, and put bums on seats. The icing on the cake for me,was that the younsters, force fed by the media,on RAP CRAP,wailing women singers, and poncified "boy bands",were enjoying,up dancing, and cheering an ALL LIVE group of muscians (and superb road crew).Again thanks to Fast Eddie and the superlative Jagged Edge, and last but not least the audience for that great electrically charged atmosphere utter pure magic!!!

Everyone said the club was empty on a Saturday night, but I think they must have been talking about a different WMC. I went to Bellhouse for the first time ever on a Saturday yesterday, and the place was packed to the rafters.

There was a brilliant atmosphere too for Jagged Edge, who were as usual superb, polished and professional. And Dan, of course, is simply mesmerising. I loved hearing the new material, and even enjoyed the traditional club anthems - perhaps that’s because I’m restricting the number of bands I see that do them - but thank you, THANK YOU, for Time. It sounded as good as the real thing.

I do see what people mean about the toddler training for the 100 metre sprint. I think it’s great that kids are welcome, and it would mean their parents’ bums wouldn’t be on the seats if they weren’t. But I do worry about their safety. They only have to slip on some spilled beer and they’ve split their head open.

Friday was great too, with Black Pearl making some good and heavy noise. I particularly enjoy their Joe Cocker and their Smooth.

Thanks for a great weekend, Bellhouse.
